WIP Wednesday
I finished the project I was working on for the last couple of weeks...If you'd like to check that out, you can see it here.
This week I'm back to finishing up a couple of projects that I had to put aside since the afghan had a deadline.
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE CROCHETING?!?...'cause I do.
I need to finish my sister, Stephanie's Ladybug (or Ladybird as I call them) -AND- I've yet to finish GT's puppets. I know, I know...shame on me...
Hopefully I'll have a couple more finished products to show you soon!!
SOMEthing's Drawn...
I'm linking up again this week with Mrs. K over at Mrs. K & Captain J to show off some off my favorite Draw Something's from this week...
I ended up having to have my iPhone replaced last Friday - long story and maybe a good topic for blog post someday - after a trip to the Apple Store, that feat was accomplished and I was back in action.
I'm totally digressing here, but have you ever been to the Apple Store? One word. WHOA. It's an experience. You should totally go there sometime and just check it out. Crazy.
Here are some of my favorite drawings from this week:
One cracked out fairy...
Not a bad lookin' torch!!
Glad he got that one...
Pretty self explanatory. Would you have gotten it?
I thought this one was super awesome!!
The Finished Product
If you've been following my blog, you know that I've been working on a crochet project...I haven't given too many details about it, because it was a surprise for the person I was making it for. Well, I presented the surprise over the weekend, so I can finally share the finished product with you guys!!
Let me know what you think. I love reading comments and hearing feedback!!
This afghan was the very first ever afghan I've ever made and it was especially for my cousin Craig and his wife, Litney who are expecting their first child this July. Craig is a champion sheep breeder/raiser/shearer...not really sure what his title for that is, but I do know that sheep are special to them and our family (my grandpa started the tradition)...and that they have a lamb theme for the nursery, so....you see why I had to make this afghan. I followed the pattern found in Candy Crochet.

...and I'd like to think that Litney liked it.
(I love the face her friend is making...)
Litney's baby picture is on the left, Craig is on the right...baby's recent sonogram is in the middle... How cute is that?!? What do you think? Boy or Girl?!?

It's Baaaack!!!...Time for GT's Book Review!!
If you missed the first installment of GT's Book Review...You can catch up by clicking here.
Since it's been over a month, almost two actually, I figured it's as good of time as any to do another Book Review. I'm pretty sure right now we have over 25 items checked out from our Library System right now. I know I've said it before, but I FREAKING LOVE OUR LIBRARY!!
