It's Baaaack!!!...Time for GT's Book Review!!

If you missed the first installment of GT's Book Review...You can catch up by clicking here.

Since it's been over a month, almost two actually, I figured it's as good of time as any to do another Book Review.  I'm pretty sure right now we have over 25 items checked out from our Library System right now.  I know I've said it before, but I FREAKING LOVE OUR LIBRARY!!

This Book Is Great!!

GT loved this book!...this was a book that Gordon remembered from his childhood.  It was alot of fun to read.  GT got a big kick out of the illustrations in the book which provided a perfect picture for us as we read the words.  What it might be like to have a chocolate moose for dinner, or what an airplane hanger might look like...GT especially loved the illustration of the little girl being "driven up a wall"...He's asked me to read this one again and again!!

Awe...So Sweet!!

This book follows Quiet Bunny as he wishes he were any other color besides the one he is...a wise old owl (are there any other kind) comes to him at the end of his colorful adventure and reminds Quiet Bunny how he has a special place in the Spring Forest, just like all of the other animals...Really a sweet book, and very colorful!!  We definitely recommend this one!

Ehhh...

I didn't particularly care for this book.  GT liked it, but...sometimes that's not all that matters.  : )  This book was just silly.  No way would a moose (p.s. it's just a coincidence that there's another moose in this book review) travel south with two ducks...and NO WAY would the ducks be driving a car.  This book was just SOOO WRONG on so many levels...and I'm pretty sure I caught an underlying political message in the book too, which is a double tsk tsk...

A True Classic!!

This book is one from GT's personal library...actually it's one that I had when I was younger.  It's a really great book, filled with fun, as you follow little Nicholas there through the four seasons of the year.  Truly a sweet, sweet book and one that everyone should have in their own personal libraries!!  I MEAN IT!!  : )

Fun to Read

This book is a lot of fun to read.  GT received this book for his third birthday and it's one that we can always count on for a fun read at bed time (or any other time for that matter)...basically it's a book that gives kudos to all of God's creatures (although that part isn't mentioned in the book).  Here's to You!!

I hope you enjoyed today's installment of GT's Book Review!!  Let me know if there's any books you would like for us to check out at the library...we are always open for suggestions & I LOVE LOVE LOVE sharing that special time with my kids.
