It's been a while since my last High Five for Friday Post - but, with the incredible trip that we took to the St. Louis Zoo yesterday (compliments of my notsolittleanymore sister, Leslie) I couldn't resist.
...being THISCLOSE to the hippopotomasus'...my favorite!!
For Safari Passes...I will never not do this...it's a great idea & a teriffic bargain!!! In a nutshell, it's a one-day pass that includes admission to the Children's Zoo, Zooline Railroad, Conservation Carousel, Movie, 4-D Motion Simulator and Stingrays at Caribbean Cove. INCREDIBLE. (Thanks again, Leslie!!)
...for having pictures turn out of the three of us...
...for the amazing spread that Leslie provided and packed for our picnic lunch...
Have a great weekend everyone!!
Happy Fathers Day to all of the Dad's out there...especially you, Uncle Denis, I'm pretty sure you are the only DAD that reads my blog...
A BIG HIGH FIVE to Merle and Patricia Butler. They are the big winners of the Mega Millions Lotto a few weeks ago. I was born and raised in Red Bud, Illinois - he was one of my Khoury League coaches, I practically grew up with their daughter - heck, I have even spent the night in the house that they show in this video...It could not have happened to nicer, more responsible people. Congratulations to them!!
High Five for pictures like these from my cousin who lives out in Colorado...especially on rainy days like today. These mountains are calling my name...
There's just something about the mountains...
High Five for the Draw Something app...It's my current favorite...let me know if you want to start a game!!

Damn. He's good.
I mean seriously, who couldn't done that???
Can you see his mark? ----> It's PERFECT.
Also...Today is being brought to you by the Letter N...
I think maybe that part of the reason it's taking me so long to complete the ABC Blog Challenge, is because I think about the topic for a while...seriously, probably much longer than Heather intended for anyone to spend thinking about it...and then I post.
With that being said, today is about Notable Changes.
When I saw this video - it took seconds for it to hit me that this was my post for today's letter.
See for yourself. The video takes only a minute & a half of your time...and it's INCREDIBLE...
I'd say THAT's a pretty notable change.
...as a follow up to this video...here is her visit on Ellen.
Happy Friday, everyone!! I'm linking up with Lauren for a little High Five for Friday Fun...
Here are the highlights from my week...
1. High Five for Friday - because let's face it...there have been two PRETTY loooooong weeks in a row and I'm excited for the weekend!!!
2. High Five for Sally Hansen. I love their nail products.
My new color: Right Said Red "Complete Salon Manicure" by Sally Hansen
3. High Five to ABC because...This show rocks. I watch it online at abc.com and let me just tell you...I cannot wait for the next episode - EVERY WEEK!!!
4. High Five to myself for finally vacuuming out my car. I finally got all of our New Years decor cleaned up...LOL.
5. High Five to my friend, Robyn, for asking me to take a crochet class with her. I've been wanting to learn for soooo many years & I finally know how!! Granted...I am very green...but I finally know how!!!
I came across From My Grey Desk. It's a 'lifestyle' blog...today was my first day reading it. Actually, I found the site through her sister's blog The Small Things Blog. (I found some AWESOME tutorials on this site that will hopefully help me to conquer not being able to style my own hair.) I am so sick of the mommy ponytail/bun thingy that is on top of my head EVERY day...
So....High Five For Friday!!
"High Five for Friday is a weekly post about your five favorite things recently. it's a chance to stop and reflect on the things that you've enjoyed over the past week, which is something we should all do."
Here goes:
1. High Five for the progress that I am making at home...I have made two large donations to the veterans, made one trip to Once Upon A Child and am continuing to conquer the clutter that is my house. BOOYAH!!!
2. High Five for GT kicking major butt again yesterday at The Little Gym. It is so neat to see his brain at work. So neat...not to mention he is one heck of an acrobat.
Who doesn't love the huge parachute??
I was trying to figure out how to ask if I could participate...
My child is monkey!!
As I was saying...
3. High five to Heather for creating the ABC Blog Challenge - I've been working on my Day C - Credit a Friend & I've already got ideas for days D, F, & G....notice I left out E. I'm sure I'll think of something. I've been having a lot of fun with it & it's got my creative juices flowing
4. High five to my husband...because he is always "one of my favorite things". We make a great team. I do not want to ever have to imagine life without him.
Not the best picture of me....but WOWZA!! Look at that hottie next to me!!!
5. High five to me for 20 days off of Facebook. I've never not missed something so much. What a mental drain that site was...I am sooooo glad to be rid of it. Now...if the rest of the world would just catch on.
