I am so super excited to be back linking up again this week to show my current work in progress...

As you know, Miss Vadyn has her First Birthday coming up. I could not resist joining in the fun on this crochet along to crochet our little cupcake a dolly for her BIG DAY!!

Confession Friday...It's Been A While

I confess that I am super behind...on everything...and it just makes me want to lay down and take a nap.  NOT GOOD.

I confess I have a busy weekend planned away from home, so I am trying my hardest to stay motivated today and tackle this natural disaster that has become my house.

I confess I can't wait to be back home in 'The Bud' tomorrow...even if it's only for a day.

I confess I'm looking forward to the Family Reunion that we are going to on Sunday.  It's for my Grandma Hick's side...this will be the first time that I've taken the kids to one of these functions. 

I confess I've been having a lot of out-of-body Momma experiences lately...you know the kind, where you can't believe that these two absolutelybeautifulsuperawesomeandamazingkids

 are YOUR kids???  Yeah...those.

 

I confess I have so many blog posts ideas in my head that I really want to get on my blog...refer to the first confession...

I confess I haven't crocheted since I finished Litney's afghan.  Believe it.

I confess we've been spending a lot of time at August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area lately and I am absolutely loving being surrounded by nature.

It's so good for my soul...

I confess my heart melted when I heard GT say, "I Love You, Vadyn" when they were playing together a few minutes ago...sooooooooo sweet.

I confess if you watch this video and your heart doesn't melt...you should possibly consider therapy.

Fun in the Sun

I awoke yesterday morning with a cold. Nice, huh? 90 degrees outside and I have a cold. What kind of sense does that make?!?

Gordon had to work yesterday and I didn't have anything planned for the kids and I. We really lucked out when our friend Casie got asked us to come over for a little fun in the sun. She had a little pool set up for the girls and a bigger pool set up for the boys. Let me tell you - we all had a blast!!...and already can't wait for next time!!

I am hoping to make this for her...it's the only part of her birthday I actually have planned.  That's terrible considering it's so close...

Our Pinterest Party - my friend Robyn & I have had this in the works for a while...we are going to get together and eat only recipes we've found on Pinterest, do crafts with the kids that were found on Pinterest, eat desserts found on Pinterest...you get the idea, right?  A Pinterest Party!!!
