Day B - Blogger Blast

Today has been brought to you by the Letter B...

Being fairly new to the blogging world...I've yet to share with you some of my favorite blogs...here goes.

Six Sister's Stuff - I swear I am the Seventh Sister...they just don't know it.  I've found so many wonderful things on this blog.   Seriously LOVE IT!!  If you don't try the Black Bean & Corn Salsa Chicken then you are missing out.  Delicious is an understatement.

One of my absolute favorite blogs to read is Getting There.  Adrien lives in the town that I grew up in.  She is an absolute gem and her writing is incredible.  I feel like I have so much in common with her, it is sometimes creepy.  LOL

Then there is Chronicles of an Independent Spinster.  Heather also lives in the town that I grew up in.  Her blog is very entertaining and another favorite of mine.

Raising 4 Princesses is a blog that I just happened across.  Probably through a "linky party" or something. To summarize Maria's blog, I'll use her line...It's about the 'adventures of an American wife and mom living (and lovin') on the Island of Jamaica".  Yes, please.

I like Thrifty Decor Chick because I am a DIY'er at heart...

I like artsy fartsy mama, because I am one of those, too... She has such great ideas and is super talented.

And last but not least...I am giving credit to Living On The Blind Side.  I've known Sarah, since she was "knee high to a grasshopper".  We went to the same grade and high schools.  While Sarah was a couple of years behind me, our little sisters were in the same class.  I have always felt a connection with her.  We reconnected through facebook and I've been following her blog since she started blogging.

Hope you have a BLAST checking out these blogs!!

What Is This World Coming To!?!

You've gotta see this...

What is this world coming to!?!

Day A - About Me

I had the hubs help me out on this one...Heather said we could "make this challenge our own"...so that's what I am doing.  Last night, I asked Gordon to give me an adjective for every letter in my first name.
I didn't tell him what it was for, I just set him to task and then went downstairs to work on some laundry.

This is what he came up with:

M - Mothering
E - Excitable/Exciting
L - Loving
I - Idealistic
S - Sweet
S - Sane (Thanks for clarifying, Honey!! LOL)
A - Able

I think he did a great job...and I even had his permission to post it on my blog.
Peace out.

Our Yesterday

WARNING:  You are about to experience a picture overload.  : )  As you may or may not know...I am no longer on the ole' facebook, and one of the purposes for my blog is to keep all of my old peeps (if any of them are reading) updated on the goings on of our family.

Our yesterday was a incredible day (with a few exceptions) and I wanted to share...I just so happened to have my camera at my fingertips all day!!

Our day started with GT's first class at The Little Gym. He did a great job and had such a great time!!  It was sooo much fun to watch him on all the different stations.  Mrs. Angela was very impressed by him.  Little does she know, GT is part Jedi.  I guess she'll learn soon enough.
There were only three kids that showed up yesterday morning...apparently,
because of the weather the class was actually cancelled - but since we showed,
Mrs. Angela went ahead and taught the class.
There was no way I was going to tell GT that we couldn't do his class,
especially since he had been looking forward to this for so long.

Birdie Perch!!  Tweet! Tweet!!

He's a natural...
I also have some video to upload.  If I can figure out how to upload that to my blog, I definitely will!!  : )

After GT's class, we headed home for lunch and naptime!!  I promised GT after he woke up from his nap that we would watch Dumbo.  It's one of my favorite movies, and since we really limit the amount of time that the television is on - it's important we make good choices on the movies we do watch!!

The rest of the day/evening was spent at home.

Vadyn turned 7 months "old" (that is so weird to say) yesterday...

Why hello there, Bright Eyes!!  : )

We had a little cowboy fun...

That's one heck of a good lookin' cowboy, if I do say so myself!
(red eyes and all!)

Looks like he gotcha, pardner!
And, just because I wanted to...I set up a little mini photo shoot in the evening.  I am using the term 'photo shoot' very loosely - I LOVE taking pictures - my photo shoot was just for fun.

She was in THE BEST MOOD EVER yesterday!

<3 <3 <3

Looks like they are having fun, too!!
Awe

Well, Gordon looks good...

Can you tell how not interested GT is?
Almost...

CHEEEEESE!!!!!

OK...Photo shoot over...lol

One more of Miss Vadyn & her Dada

And...here is GT's first ever "portrait" picture taken with my camera.
(The kid is a natural)
