WIP Wednesday

Vadyn's dolly is almost finished...I've just the face and clothes to finish...

I am so pleased with how this project is turning out.  I can hardly wait to start another doll when I'm finished with this one...the second one always turns out better...

I'm not going to lie...the hair was intense.  It took just as long, if not longer to finish, than the entire doll body - but it's been worth EVERY second.  I get warm fuzzies when I think about my baby girl having this dolly for her lifetime.

  1. Oh my, I love it! I would love to do something like that for the girls' stockings this year, but I'm a bit rusty. :)

  4. Awesome hairdo! I can't imagine how long it took, but you're right. It's totally worth it. Your little one is going to be over the moon about her new friend!

  7. Oh it's so lovely to have a doll to that stage, isn't it!!!! How exciting - soon her personality will appear! The doll I made for my daughter is very highly treasured - I'm sure this will be too.
